Stay in the Manor, marry in the church and celebrate in the walled garden or on the edge of the Lake — the estate is your playground.
We host only a handful of weddings each year - so when it’s yours, it’s really yours.
The Spaces
Two settings. One Estate.
The Manor is your home for the weekend. From there, the estate is yours to shape — use one setting, mix and match, or weave both into your weekend. Friday welcome drinks in the front courtyard, your wedding reception by the Lake, and a Sunday brunch in the back courtyard - no two weekends look the same.
The Manor's stone walls, ancient courtyards and walled garden make for a setting that feels as though it's always been waiting for a wedding: bring in your own marquee and make the space entirely your own, with the church just a stone's throw away. A short walk across the parkland, the Lake is whimsical, wild and utterly peaceful, its sailcloth marquee, furnishings and lighting all provided — leaving you free to bring in the caterers, florist, band and details that make the day entirely your own.
Cothelstone Church
The Church of St Thomas of Canterbury is a stone’s throw from Cothelstone Manor, up a grass path from the back garden, and seats up to 130 guests for your ceremony.
All couples are welcome to marry in the church. There are a few eligibility requirements to meet and you’ll find everything you need to know in our FAQs.
Pricing
A wedding at the Manor is £7,000 or by the Lake is £16,000 — both include two nights accmmodation in Cothelstone Manor, with a third night available for £1,000.
The Manor comes with the walled garden and grounds to make your own. The Lake includes all of this too, plus the sailcloth marquee, furnishings and lighting, ready for you to move straight in.
