Grounds
Cothelstone Manor is set amongst beautiful grounds, including the Back Courtyard, Walled Garden and Front Courtyard. Up a flower lined path from the Back Courtyard is Cothelstone Park, a traditional parkland with ancient oaks and historic pasture.
Back Courtyard
Step out of the back door into the Back Courtyard, a stunning walled garden with an outdoor dining area seating up to 18, a wood fired Kadai BBQ and a wood-fired ‘tank tub’ hot-tub.
Private and enclosed
The Back Courtyard is the perfect spot for brunch in the sunshine, an evening BBQ or an afternoon of lawn games - croquet, badminton and boules are guest favourites - followed by a soak in the wood-fired hot-tub.
Walled Garden
Up stone steps from the Back Courtyard is our Walled Garden, a gorgeous one-acre lawn with views over Cothelstone Manor and Cothelstone Church.
In the corner sits our stone Summer House, a 17th century gazebo which is the perfect spot for a summer picnic, drinks in the shade or a sunrise yoga session.
Front Courtyard
Our front courtyard sits between Cothelstone Manor and Cothelstone Gatehouse, creating a grand and opulent feel. Often where guests park, it can also be the perfect drinks party venue.
